Name Cape PallarendaDescriptionNamed by George P. Heath during the survey of Cleveland Bay in October 1864. It was also named Cape Marlow, a month or so later. Cape Pallarenda was once a quarantine station, established between 1915-1916, and a strategic defence location in World War II. Visitors can walk and ride the Cape Pallarenda Trails to see the World War II structures on the Cape Pallarenda headland.
